And my international summer trip for 2025 is underway! Lucky enough to share this one with my sis. Flew up to Long Island on Sunday morning to spend some time with her and her family before we headed out to Newark airport Tuesday afternoon.

After a relatively short red-eye flight, we landed at Heathrow Wednesday morning, met up with our friend Art, dropped the bags at the hotel and set about walking. I’ve found one of the best ways to prevent terrible jet lag is to walk a bunch on the first day. And a good 12 miles of walking we did…even managing to catch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.

On Thursday, Suz and I did the hop on hop off bus experience. It was a bit drizzly, but we had great views of Regent Street thru Soho, Piccadilly Circus and eventually the Tower Bridge.

We “hopped off” for lunch at a great pub, the Two Bridges in Southwark.

Tonight is the key reason for this trip – the Oasis reunion concert at Wembley Stadium. We’re also looking to visit the Churchill War Rooms this afternoon and tomorrow we’re heading for a couple days in Paris on this quick trip. Great to be back in Europe again!
