Fun show on Friday night – Devo at the Fillmore Miami Beach – Jackie Gleason Theater.

Devo has been a favorite for decades. I’d first seen them in 2004 at Central Park Summerstage in NYC, shortly before I moved to Florida. 22 years later, I finally caught up with them again at one of my favorite venues. Perfect timing, as the world has only devolved further since then!

The Fillmore Miami Beach is a great venue – relatively easy to get to by highway, cheap municipal parking garages and reasonable concession prices. It’s a two-tiered theater with a large open orchestra pit and most of the venue is general admission. Usually not hard to find a place with a great view.
